Superficial image

Apparently, even in this 21st century, a senior told me that good looks will take you far. It is sad that I cannot be promoted based on my abilities, but was asked to do braces. My teeth is what my parents gave me. Does that mean I should go for plastic surgery too? Or is braces so common such that it has become a must? What about those who cannot afford it? They have no power to choose. Will they be discriminated against?

Finally, I got the courage to thank someone for being kind. I believe this is essential for some as this will spur them to continue to do things that will warm people hearts.

It was a super crowded bus and this young man just spoke up in a few sentences "Excuse me, please move in, I would appreciate that a lot. Thank you." There was so much space on the bus, which was initially even impossible for me to board. I thanked him when he alighted.

My kind deed for today. There was this small alley where only one cyclist can pass at anytime. And I chose to wait and let the other person from the opposite direction pass first.
Don't take granted when people do that to you next time!

Simple things, like putting back the cutlery used to choose Yong Tau Foo items, is also a simple, yet taken for granted way to be kind to the next person ordering it. Thanks Min Er Mandy Wee!

Helped a China couple guide his car into a parking lot. He was really almost hitting cars on either side. Really, NS has proven, I can't drive, but guide extremely well.

And of course my mother thinks I'm at fault because I'm helping a stranger. A usual irony of getting scolded for helping.

Helped a pair got off because they were lost sitting on a shuttle bus that drove past their MRT station a few minutes ago.
